Subtle Restomod 1964 Porsche 356C

One of the original Silver Machines is featured this week on Jay Leno’s Garage. Dr. Anand Rajani takes Jay through his beloved Porsche 356C, restored by an old friend of Jay’s called John Willhoit. Like the Emory Porsches, this 356 is no longer stock and it made up-to-date in subtle ways. This video is a bit longer than usual as it goes a bit more in depth on the mechanical upgrades. BMW E30 340i Touring

Not sure if it’s because I drove an E30 to get my driver’s exam, but I’ve always had a soft spot for BMW 3-series of the late 80’s and early 90s. Sadly I’ve only driven the 316i but the ultimate dream E30 for has always been the 325i Touring.

I don’t know why, but that stationwagon version always appealed to me most (though the M3 comes e x t r e m e l y close). The only missing from that whole E30 series was a V8 powered version. Because let’s be honest, what car does not get better with a V8? Continue reading “BMW E30 340i Touring”
